




Job Summary: The Vila Galé Collection Ouro Preto hotel is seeking a Kitchen Chef to manage teams, costs, inventory, and dish development, ensuring quality and hygiene. Key Highlights: 1. We guarantee service quality by valuing our employees with smiles and dedication, ALWAYS BEING CLOSE TO YOU! **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** Directly manage kitchen teams: Hot Area, Cold Area, Pastry, Staff Dining Room, and cleaning areas. Recruit, onboard, and train new employees. Manage costs, waste, and production services. Supervise purchasing, inventory, and stocktaking. Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and organization within the department. Develop new dishes according to the Executive Chef’s requests. **YOUR PROFILE:** Completed or ongoing Technical or Higher Education in Gastronomy, Hospitality Management, Administration, or related fields. Computer literacy and familiarity with hotel systems and/or software from an end-user perspective. Basic knowledge of technical kitchen terminology in English and/or Spanish. Familiarity with Food Safety regulations, HACCP, and current sanitary legislation. Knowledge of equipment, products, and methods used in large-scale kitchens. Knowledge of national and international cuisines. Leadership experience within the hospitality sector, preferably in medium- and large-scale establishments. Experience with All-Inclusive systems is a plus.
