Prepares to become a fully qualified tradesperson A developing professional who assists skilled tradespeople (e.g., masons, carpenters, electricians, etc.) in more complex tasks, learning on the job how to perform installation, assembly, material preparation, and maintenance tasks—always under supervision—preparing\-themselves to become a fully qualified tradesperson, while ensuring site organization and proper use of PPE. * Assists in minor maintenance, repairs, and civil construction-level fixes; * Assists in laying blocks and bricks in general; * Accompanies and assists in masonry work (walls, partitions, floors); * Prepares cement mortars; * Performs concrete pouring, and manually or with electrical equipment cuts bricks and blocks; * Operates power tools, provided trained; * Prepares surfaces for painting, including cleaning, applying fine or skim coat plaster, and sanding; * Performs minor painting tasks; * Are assigned to fence construction, general service areas, and civil construction areas—including finishing works and minor tasks such as water tank cleaning and gutter unclogging; * Handles loading and unloading of materials; * Organizes and prepares the worksite; * Performs work at height, when properly trained, authorized, and in full compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
