Tool maintenance and participation in training programs Description: A HIGH-END BUILDING CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IS HIRING A CARPENTER for a project in Governador Valadares, with a contract duration of 2 years. We seek professionals to perform the following duties: * Carry out carpentry tasks, including construction, installation, and repair of wooden structures. * Interpret drawings and blueprints to fabricate wooden components and structures. * Safely and efficiently use hand and power carpentry tools. * Perform precise measurements and cut wood according to specifications. * Collaborate with other civil construction professionals to ensure delivery quality and timeliness. * Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to safety regulations. * Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on used tools and equipment. * Participate in training and capacity-building programs to enhance skills and knowledge in the field. Work Location: Downtown Governador Valadares Salary: R$ 2\.402,40 Benefits: meal allowance, basic food basket, life insurance, and accommodation for those not residing in the region. Requirements: * A technical course in carpentry or related fields is a plus. * Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation. * Experience using hand and power carpentry tools. * Proficiency in working with various types of wood and finishes. * Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate well. * Willingness to travel and work at different locations. * Familiarity with occupational safety standards. * Preferred Qualifications: * Experience on large-scale construction projects. * Occupational safety certifications. * Skills in cabinetmaking and fine finishing. * Knowledge of carpentry design software.
