The Financial Assistant is responsible for providing operational support to the finance department’s routines, directly assisting assistants and analysts to ensure accurate execution and organization of processes. Key responsibilities include entering accounts payable and receivable into the system, assisting with due date tracking, verifying invoices, bank slips, and other financial documents, as well as supporting bank reconciliation activities and identifying potential discrepancies for review by responsible personnel.
The role also involves organizing and archiving physical and digital documents, maintaining up-to-date internal records and controls, and assisting in preparing basic financial reports to provide data for decision-making. The professional may also support communication with suppliers and customers regarding financial outstanding matters, always under the guidance of the responsible team.
Candidates must have completed high school; enrollment in a higher education program in Administration, Accounting, or related fields is desirable. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office—especially Excel—and familiarity with financial routines are required. Organizational skills, attention to detail, responsibility, proactivity, strong communication abilities, and teamwork capabilities are expected, ensuring timely task completion and information reliability.
