Human resource management and pursuit of new technologies **Description** We are seeking a **PPCM Technician** to plan, schedule, and control maintenance activities, ensuring equipment efficiency, compliance with preventive maintenance schedules, and reduced production downtime. This professional will integrate maintenance, production, and supplier functions, guaranteeing quality, productivity, and safety in the industrial environment. **Responsibilities and Duties** Plan, guide, and assign maintenance activities according to established guidelines, goals, and programs; Develop preventive and predictive maintenance schedules and plans for company machinery and equipment—including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and refrigeration systems—by reviewing latest inspections, assessing maintenance team availability, and confirming machine release feasibility by production, then recording all data in the system following standardized procedures to minimize disruption to production while remaining within preventive maintenance limits; Oversee implementation, execution, and monitoring of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs, as well as provide support and guidance for third-party service providers; Manage human resources within the department—including training, performance evaluation, and discipline of team members—and administer absences, vacations, and other procedures inherent to team structuring, maintenance, and motivation, consulting with immediate supervisors on key decisions; Coordinate with involved departments to negotiate preventive maintenance dates; Monitor routine maintenance checklists—whether performed or requested by production—and archive related documents per established requirements; Register new machinery and equipment data into the system, updating, modifying, and standardizing procedures for identical parts and devices in preventive maintenance; Create and print identification labels for machines and equipment, requesting their physical installation; Transfer information from the computerized system to spreadsheets or text editors to generate and issue reports and controls as needed or upon request; Liaise with suppliers to identify solutions for equipment defects and explore new technologies aimed at improving factory quality and productivity through internal meetings or specific technical visits; Contact third-party service providers as needed to assist with electrical, mechanical, or similar maintenance tasks, minimizing machine downtime to restore production; Oversee development, execution, and monitoring of preventive and predictive maintenance programs, as well as provide support and guidance for third-party services; Be accountable for service results and statistics, analyzing unproductive hours and overtime reports to quantify and validate cost-benefit ratios; Maintain and update industrial maintenance records and develop and analyze performance indicators for result tracking; Comply with occupational health and safety standards, properly using PPE and performing training and instructional operations to ensure personal and third-party safety; Perform other duties as required and at the discretion of the immediate supervisor. **Requirements and Qualifications** Completed technical education in industrial mechanics, electromechanics, or related fields. Prior experience as a PPCM technician in an industrial setting. **Working Hours**: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:18 PM; Saturday, 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM
