**Responsibilities**
The Accountant will be responsible for executing and monitoring the company’s accounting routines, ensuring correct transaction classification, account reconciliation, and reliability of information used in closings and financial statements.
**Key Activities Include:**
* Perform bank, asset, financial, and accounting reconciliations;
* Analyze and reconcile transactions involving company-owned units, franchises, and partners;
* Integrate and verify information originating from financial, tax, and accounting systems;
* Analyze tax documents, contracts, receipts, statements, and other supporting documents for accounting records;
* Monitor and reconcile foreign currency transactions, exchange rate variations, and balances held abroad;
* Maintain accounting control over commissions, transfers, reimbursements, cancellations, and refunds;
* Support calculation and control of financial income, expenses, provisions, and accounting adjustments;
* Participate in monthly and annual accounting closings;
* Prepare trial balances, management reports, financial statements, and variance analyses;
* Support preparation and verification of the Balance Sheet, Income Statement (DRE), Statement of Changes in Equity (DLPA), Statement of Cash Flows (DMPL), and other financial statements;
* Assist in preparing information required for ECD, ECF, and other ancillary accounting obligations;
* Perform composition and monitoring of balance sheet and income statement accounts;
* Identify discrepancies, pending items, and opportunities for improvement in accounting processes;
* Organize documents and information for audits, inspections, and internal/external requests;
* Support finance, tax, and administrative departments on accounting-related matters;
* Maintain accounting controls, files, and documents properly organized and up to date.
**Requirements**
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences, completed or nearing completion;
* Experience with accounting routines, reconciliations, and monthly closings;
* Knowledge of accounting classification and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts;
* Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Excel and/or Google Sheets;
* Familiarity with financial statements;
* Organization, attention to detail, and analytical ability;
* Strong oral and written communication skills;
* Ability to manage deadlines, priorities, and concurrent demands.

Compensation: starting at R$3.700,00 per month
