Contribute to data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency **Description:** NextEra Energy is launching a transformative initiative to modernize our IoT infrastructure, which supports our diversified portfolio of power generation assets—including solar, wind, and battery storage systems. This project will replace our current internally customized system, CEWIS, with off\-the\-shelf market solutions, integrating advanced platforms such as AWS, GE Proficy, Databricks, and ServiceNow. The goal is to build a cohesive and scalable ecosystem that enhances operational efficiency and data integrity. By adopting these new technologies, we aim to scale more rapidly and obtain more robust support, enabling faster, data-driven decisions. **Our architecture integrates the following components:** edge (field-based) data collection, cloud-based processing, and advanced analytics, positioning us at the forefront of innovation in the renewable energy sector. **Requirements:** Key Responsibilities Configure and support GE Proficy Historian on AWS cloud. **Configure collectors and create tags in the following formats:** raw calculated writeback Develop Python scripts for tag calculations and conversions. Enable downstream applications to consume data. Monitor, troubleshoot, and support the historian system. Deliverables Detailed documentation of GE Proficy Historian configuration. Complete Python scripts for tag calculations and conversions. Integration guides for downstream applications. Monitoring and troubleshooting playbooks. General Qualifications Proven experience with GE Proficy and AWS. Strong Python scripting development skills. Familiarity with OPC, Proficy REST APIs, and corresponding SDKs. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
