Requirements: We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with solid experience in mathematical modeling and optimization techniques to work on challenging projects with high impact on business processes. This person will be responsible for leading the development of optimized solutions—from model construction and validation to interaction with users and stakeholders. We seek a technically skilled, analytical professional with strong communication abilities. **Responsibilities and duties:** * Develop and implement mathematical optimization models using exact techniques. * Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle: modeling, feature development, validation, tuning, and acceptance testing. * Program solutions using Python and specialized libraries for optimization and data analysis. * Use Gurobi as the solver for complex optimization problems. * Investigate failures, perform fine-tuning, and propose continuous improvements. * Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and align proposed solutions. **Requirements and qualifications:** * Solid experience in mathematical optimization projects. * Advanced knowledge of mathematical modeling and exact optimization techniques. * Proficiency in Python, with emphasis on libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, PuLP, Pyomo, and SciPy. * Practical experience with Gurobi or similar solvers (e.g., CPLEX, GLPK). * Ability to operate across the entire analytical development lifecycle—from conception to final delivery. * Strong communication skills and ability to present results to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Proactive, investigative, and problem-solving mindset.
