**About the role:**
Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) at Equifax is a discipline that combines software and systems engineering to build and operate large-scale, distributed, and fault-tolerant systems. SRE ensures that internal and external services meet or exceed reliability and performance expectations, adhering to Equifax’s engineering principles.
**Your role will include:**
* Working in a DevSecOps environment, contributing to the building and operation of small-scale, fault-tolerant systems.
* Assisting in the creation of new tools and scripts for incident self-remediation.
* Collaborating closely with development and operations teams to build highly available and cost-effective systems.
* Participating in measuring and monitoring system failures and outages.
* Supporting the cloud operations team in resolving system issues.
**Required Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving programming;
* Basic knowledge of software engineering, system administration, database administration, or networking.
* Basic/theoretical knowledge of AWS, Dynatrace, GitLab or GitHub, and Terraform (preferred).
Hybrid work model: 3 days onsite in Alphaville (Barueri) \+ 2 days remote.
