IT Supervisor (Systems)

Description

Job Summary: Professional responsible for designing, maintaining, administering, operating, and monitoring databases, systems, applications, and technology and telecom solutions, applying agile methodologies. Key Highlights: 1. Experience working on projects using agile methodologies with a focus on user experience (UX). 2. Development and maintenance of systems, applications, and reports. 3. Database administration and monitoring (MS-SQL, Oracle, Informix). Perform activities related to the design, maintenance, administration, operation, and monitoring of databases, files, spreadsheets, technology and telecom solutions, contact center systems, applications, and systems; web system development; application development; and report development. * Maintenance and monitoring of operational management systems, as well as other non-operational systems that impact customer service. * Performing backups, data handling, and maintenance of information required to deliver services. * Mapping and documentation of technological processes and their changes, necessary for service delivery. * Development, testing, and deployment of systems, applications, tools, reports, and other automations—not limited solely to customer service-related requests. * Preparation and updating of schedules and progress reports tracking demand fulfillment. * Implementation of data routines, data loading, database administration, production, and report maintenance. * Responsibility for applying agile practices in assigned projects and tasks, respecting established technology and development standards. * Participation in projects using agile methodologies, Scrum framework, focus on MVP (Minimum Viable Product), value-driven delivery, and user experience (UX). Required Knowledge: Skills in development, maintenance, and automation of systems/web/databases and others. Knowledge of system and web page development, CSS, JAVA, JAVA SCRIPT, JQUERY, HTML, PHP, PYTHON, Software Testing, Agile Documentation, MVC Pattern, Web Design, API development, and version control with GIT. 6\.1\.11\.2\.2\. Basic understanding of project management and execution: Scrum, software quality, software development lifecycle, development phases, MVP, Design Experience, User Experience \- UX. Operation of telephony control tools. Database administration/monitoring/creation/maintenance and backup; creation and management of data loading routines; ETL packages; INTEGRATION SERVICES; REPORTING SERVICES; TRIGGERS; STORED PROCEDURES; FUNCTIONS; VIEWS; LINKED SERVERS; JOBS; INDEXES; CONSTRAINTS; and other related tasks. Familiarity with AZURE DATA STUDIO. Knowledge of using APIs for data retrieval. The DBMS used are: MS\-SQL, Oracle, Informix, and others. Bachelor’s degree required (in progress or completed).
