Home \- CEPEL We seek a professional with: * Developer profile to act as an analyst for the basic computational subsystem of SCADA; * Excellent communication and teamwork skills; * Ability to solve problems efficiently and creatively; * Proactivity and willingness to learn new technologies; * Effective time management and commitment to meeting deadlines; * Attention to detail and commitment to code quality; * Availability for business travel. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Main Activities to Perform:** * Development of software modules comprising the platform, including both new artifacts and those undergoing corrective or evolutionary maintenance for the basic subsystems of the SCADA system. * Unit and system testing of software modules comprising the platform, including both new artifacts and those undergoing corrective or evolutionary maintenance; generation of corrective modules (patches) and updates (updates) for all software components of the system; and preparation and maintenance of corresponding documentation; * Implementation of supervision and control solutions based on the SAGE platform in local systems and control centers; * Configuration of SCADA/EMS systems, resolution of configuration-related issues for the SAGE platform, definition of its databases, and configuration of real-time processes; * Analysis and Diagnosis: identification of failures through analysis of processes and logs; * Evaluation of causes of operational or functional problems in live systems, including presentation of diagnosis and proposals for alternative solutions; **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Knowledge:** * Completed bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related engineering disciplines. * Proficiency in coding functionalities in programming languages C, C\+\+ and Python; * Solid knowledge of software architecture; * Solid knowledge of computer network infrastructure and server configuration; * Solid knowledge of the Linux operating system and its components; * Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL) for data collection and analysis; * Ability to work with distributed system architectures and real-time processing. **Desirable Knowledge:** * Knowledge of SCADA systems for local applications and control centers; * Familiarity with standards IEC61850, IEC60870‐5‐101, IEC60870‐5‐104, IEC60870‐6 (ICCP), IEEE1815(DNP3\), IEC62541 (OPC UA), IEEE37118, and Modbus; * Knowledge of programming languages Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; * Advanced English proficiency; * Familiarity with agile methodologies and best practices in software engineering; * Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and address complex problems; * Knowledge of cybersecurity. **Additional Information** * Fixed-term employment contract (24 months); * On-site work modality; * Health insurance plan with co-payment, extendable to direct dependents; * Life insurance; * Meal/food allowance; * Private pension plan; * Childcare allowance; * Educational assistance; * Wellhub (formerly Gympass).
