The Offshore Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all mechanical maintenance activities aboard the oil platform, ensuring asset reliability, integrity, and availability, in compliance with the unit’s safety, environmental, and operational performance requirements. \#LI\-TR1 \#LI\-ONSITE **Responsibilities and Duties** * Supervise and coordinate mechanical maintenance teams, ensuring safe and efficient execution of corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities. * Plan and monitor interventions on critical equipment, including hydraulic systems, offshore cranes, large rotating assemblies, compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and auxiliary systems. * Ensure mechanical integrity of process, utility, and support equipment, working collaboratively with operations, electrical, instrumentation, drilling, and safety departments. * Monitor maintenance of drilling equipment such as top drives, DWS, mud pumps, lifting and circulation systems; this experience is considered a differentiator. * Monitor and maintain turbines (gas or steam), including performance analysis, recurrent failure analysis, and continuous improvement plans. * Utilize and keep maintenance management systems (CMMS/ERP) up to date, ensuring proper creation, execution, and closure of work orders, failure histories, and backlog control. * Monitor, analyze, and report Maintenance KPIs, such as physical availability, MTBF, MTTR, adherence to maintenance plans, costs, and critical failure rates. * Actively participate in developing and reviewing maintenance plans, reliability strategies, and asset criticality analyses. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, corporate procedures, and applicable offshore regulations. * Support failure investigations, root cause analyses (RCA), and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. * Manage contracts and activities of third-party service providers, ensuring technical compliance, timelines, quality, and safety of performed services. * Technically develop the team by promoting training, standardization of best practices, and continuous improvement of maintenance processes. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Academic background (degree if required or technical course);** * Completed technical or undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or related fields. **Previous experience desired and/or mandatory;** * Proven experience supervising mechanical maintenance in offshore environments. * Solid knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems, offshore cranes, and large-scale rotating equipment. * Mandatory knowledge of maintenance management systems and performance indicators (KPIs). * Experience with drilling equipment and/or turbines (gas or steam) will be considered a differentiator. * Knowledge of technical standards, maintenance best practices, and oil & gas regulatory requirements. **Additional Information** **What is the selection process like at PRIO?** We prefer to get to know you a bit before the interview, so we ask you to complete some assessments during the registration stage to evaluate your cultural fit with PRIO :) Next, our HR team will schedule a conversation with you.
