Main Responsibilities
* **Nutritional Assessment:** The nutritionist analyzes the patient's health status, dietary history, and lifestyle to understand individual needs.
* **Meal Plan Development:** Creates customized diets and meal plans with objectives such as weight loss or gain, management of chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension), or overall well-being improvement.
* **Nutritional Education:** Advises on selecting healthy foods, the importance of nutrients, reading food labels, and preparing balanced meals.
* **Monitoring:** Tracks patient progress and adjusts the meal plan as needed to ensure nutritional goals are met.
* **Disease Management:** Supports the treatment and prevention of eating disorders (e.g., anorexia, bulimia) and other diet-related diseases.
