Job Summary:
A Quality professional responsible for controlling non-conforming products, licenses, and documents, as well as performing operational and analytical routines to ensure compliance and support audits.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Control of non-conforming Finished Products (damaged goods), guiding the shipping team to carry out corresponding corrective actions, and reporting the status of identified non-conformances to management through presentations.
Control of licenses and legal documents of the Distribution Center.
Perform operational and analytical routines related to Quality at the Distribution Center, ensuring compliance with established standards.
Support the implementation and maintenance of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and prerequisites of Good Storage and Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Conduct inspections and record keeping in receiving, storage, and shipping areas, verifying hygienic-sanitary conditions, product integrity, and temperature.
Collect samples of raw materials and finished products for external microbiological and physicochemical analyses when required, ensuring proper packaging and traceability.
Support integrated pest control, water quality control, and operational area management at the DC.
Monitor and record non-conformances, assist in root cause investigations, and propose corrective actions under leadership guidance.
Support internal and external audits by organizing requested documents, evidence, and reports.
Support monitoring and updating of Quality department performance indicators (KPIs).
Collaborate in preparing and reviewing inspection reports and control spreadsheets.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and traceability regulations throughout all stages of receiving, storage, and shipping.
REQUIREMENTS:
Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Chemistry, Quality Management, Biology, Biotechnology, or related fields.
Previous experience in Quality, Inspection, or Process Control within food, beverage, or distribution center industries is desirable.
Basic knowledge of:
Good Storage and Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
Sanitary legislation (RDC 275, RDC 724, IN 161, Ordinance 888/2021)
Basic microbiological and physicochemical analyses
Document management and quality record control
Proficiency in Excel and quality management systems (ERP, Protheus, WMS) is desirable.
Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow technical procedures.
