Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across all project phases **About the Ocyan & Mota-Engil Consortium** The Ocyan & Mota-Engil Consortium was established in 2023 following Ocyan’s award of a strategic contract, in partnership with the Portuguese company Mota-Engil, to execute the revitalization of Petrobras’ gas network in the Campos Basin. This project marks the expansion of both companies’ involvement in offshore EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation) projects for subsea equipment. Activities will be carried out on the Namorado (PNA-1) and Garoupa (PGP-1) platforms, focusing on the installation of manifolds, flexible pipes, and other high-complexity subsea equipment. The collaboration between Ocyan and Mota-Engil strengthens the Consortium’s expertise: on one side, Ocyan’s solid experience in the Brazilian oil and gas market; on the other, Mota-Engil’s recognized international presence, especially in Europe and Africa. We are seeking an Installation Engineer to join the project’s Operations team. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop and review execution procedures for subsea system installation, based on feasibility studies and installation analyses; * Monitor offshore installation operations, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and project requirements; * Monitor offshore installation operations, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and project requirements; * Collaborate with the team during conceptual, detailed design, execution, and completion phases of projects; * Perform installation analyses using engineering software such as Orcaflex to evaluate subsea systems, including Direct Vertical Connection (DVC), pull-in, pull-out, Lazy Wave, and section recovery; * Analyze sea state limit conditions for installation operations, identifying critical conditions for safety and operational efficiency based on regulatory standards analysis; * Develop and apply new tools for analysis and optimization of installation processes, utilizing advanced technologies such as VBA/Python to improve engineering analysis efficiency; * Ensure all operations are conducted in accordance with current safety standards and operational guidelines, as required by QSMS; * Develop and review risk analyses, lifting plans, schedules, and execution documents to ensure operational safety and effectiveness; * Contribute to the creation of discipline-specific formats and standards, ensuring control and organization of technical documentation and its continuous review (MDR – Master Document Register); * Identify opportunities for improvement in subsea installation processes, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to optimize procedures and enhance operational efficiency; * Record and share lessons learned and best practices associated with performed activities, promoting continuous improvement within the team and organization; * Availability for travel, mobilizations, technical visits, and occasional offshore assignments. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Naval Engineering); * Experience in onshore and offshore operations; * Commitment to QSMS values; * Experience reviewing structural documents and standards such as API, DNV, Petrobras, and ABNT; * Active CREA registration. **Additional Information** The Ocyan & Mota-Engil Consortium was established in 2023 following Ocyan’s award of a strategic contract, in partnership with the Portuguese company Mota-Engil, to execute the revitalization of Petrobras’ gas network in the Campos Basin.
