Job Summary: Gas System Operator responsible for operating and maintaining the gas plant, monitoring and controlling production, inspecting equipment, and performing occasional repairs. Regular inspection and maintenance of equipment and systems An energy and gas company is seeking a Gas System Operator in São Gonçalo. **Responsibilities:** Perform operation and maintenance activities at the gas plant, ensuring safety and efficiency. Monitor and control the production and quality of the gas produced. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure proper functioning of gas equipment and systems. Perform occasional repairs on equipment, as well as routine maintenance, testing, and adjustments. Execute shutdown, startup, and operational record-keeping procedures for gas operations in accordance with internal standards and applicable legislation. Previous experience as a Gas Equipment Operator, Gas Technician, Gas System Controller, or Chemical Process Operator may indicate alignment with some of the responsibilities of this position. High school diploma required.
