MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (SENIOR)

Job Summary: Senior mechanical maintenance professional responsible for evaluating, planning, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment. Key Highlights: 1. Knowledge of fitting and assembly of mechanical equipment MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (SENIOR) Main Responsibilities: Evaluate the operational condition of equipment in the industrial area, including scheduled (preventive) and corrective (emergency repair) maintenance activities, identifying potential issues for immediate action or future intervention planning; routine inspections of equipment while in operation, including use of camera images, to identify problems for planning of scheduled interventions Planned or emergency replacement of equipment, with scenario analysis and definition of control measures to ensure safe execution within the planned timeframe; reading and interpretation of mechanical and hydraulic drawings for failure identification, bench-based planned repairs, emergency repairs in the industrial area, and activity planning for future interventions; small-scale welding and oxy-cutting services; spare parts inventory control, maintaining an organized kanban system; direct involvement and supervision of external recovery processes for spare equipment: bench and field assembly/disassembly of mechanical equipment: Knowledge of fitting and assembly of mechanical equipment is required; Knowledge of reading mechanical drawings and using measuring instruments—calipers, micrometers, height gauges, goniometers, laser alignment tools, etc.—is required; preparation of technical scopes for mechanical equipment recovery, requiring reading of mechanical and hydraulic drawings; Requirements: * Completed technical course in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics; * Experience in maintenance activities, with a minimum of 3 years as an industrial mechanic; * Basic knowledge of shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and oxy-cutting; * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Flexibility in working hours Salary: BRL 4,000.00 Benefits include: * Health insurance with co-payment * Dental insurance * Medication allowance * Meal voucher * Profit-sharing program * Private pension plan Minimum Education Level: Technical Course
