Job Summary:
Occupational Safety professional responsible for informing about risks, implementing preventive measures, analyzing processes, and promoting occupational health.

Inform the employer, through a technical opinion, about the risks present in the workplace, as well as advise them on measures for elimination and neutralization;
Inform workers about the risks associated with their activities, as well as measures for elimination and neutralization;
Analyze work methods and processes and identify risk factors for occupational accidents, occupational diseases, and the presence of environmental hazards affecting workers, proposing their elimination or control;
Implement occupational safety and hygiene procedures and evaluate the results achieved, adapting the strategies used to integrate the prevention process into planning, thereby benefiting workers;
Implement occupational accident, occupational disease, and work-related illness prevention programs in the workplace, involving workers, monitoring and evaluating their outcomes, and continually suggesting updates while establishing procedures to be followed;
Organize discussions, meetings, campaigns, seminars, lectures, conferences, training sessions, and use other didactic and pedagogical resources to disseminate occupational safety and hygiene standards and technical topics, aiming to prevent occupational accidents, occupational diseases, and work-related illnesses;
Implement safety standards related to construction projects, application, renovation, physical layout, and workflow arrangements, ensuring compliance with occupational safety and hygiene standards, including those applicable to third parties;
Forward standards, regulations, documentation, statistical data, analysis and evaluation results, and technical, educational, and other dissemination materials to competent departments and areas for worker awareness and self-development;
Recommend, request, and inspect fire protection equipment, audiovisual and didactic resources, and other materials deemed indispensable according to current legislation, meeting recommended quality and technical specifications, and evaluating their performance;
Collaborate with environmental activities by advising on industrial waste treatment and disposal, encouraging and raising worker awareness of its importance to life;
Guide activities performed by contracted companies regarding occupational safety and hygiene procedures stipulated in legislation or specified in service contracts;
Carry out occupational safety and hygiene activities using scientific methods and techniques, observing legal and institutional provisions aimed at eliminating, controlling, or permanently reducing occupational accident risks and improving workplace conditions to safeguard workers' physical and mental integrity;
Collect and study statistical data on occupational accidents, occupational diseases, and work-related illnesses; calculate their frequency and severity to adjust prevention actions, standards, regulations, and other technical provisions enabling collective and individual protection;
Coordinate and collaborate with human resources departments, providing them with technical risk assessment results for various areas and activities to support personnel-level preventive measures;
Inform workers and employers about unhealthy, hazardous, and arduous activities existing within the company, their specific risks, and measures and alternatives for their elimination or neutralization;
Evaluate workplace environmental conditions and issue a technical opinion to support safe work planning and organization for workers;
Coordinate and collaborate with agencies and entities involved in occupational accident, occupational disease, and work-related illness prevention;
Participate in seminars, training sessions, congresses, and courses aimed at professional exchange and development;
Conduct checklists;
Field inspections;

Job Type: Full-time, CLT Permanent Position
Compensation: R$3.000,00 - R$3.200,00 per month
