Focus on quality, safety, and sector organization Hotel chain seeks a Maintenance Assistant in Rio de Janeiro (Copacabana). The BB Hotel offers comfortable accommodations and quality services for travelers. With a strategic location, it is ideal for both tourists and business travelers. **Responsibilities:** Perform preventive maintenance (hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical) on company machines and equipment, verifying the schedule and priorities defined by the supervisor, and executing tasks according to the checklist to avoid production downtime and contribute to increased productivity. Respond to corrective maintenance requests (hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, etc.) from various hotel departments, analyzing reported faults, verifying the need for part replacement, performing appropriate repairs, and completing the Service Order (SO) for activity registration and control. Respond to emergency maintenance requests for the property, both internal and external. Provide guest service when requested. Monitor maintenance processes, identifying potential irregularities, providing guidance and receiving guidance regarding proper use of materials and equipment to reduce the need for corrective maintenance. Record corrective maintenance activities in designated spreadsheets according to established procedures, maintaining a history of performed activities. Request purchase of parts, tools, and other materials required for maintenance execution based on available stock or identified needs, forwarding requests to the supervisor for appropriate action. Assist with building maintenance activities, such as leak repairs and electrical installations, including those carried out by third-party companies, monitoring execution per supervisor instructions to ensure service quality. Assist with carpentry and painting activities when necessary or requested, adhering to safety regulations and established procedures. Perform sector cleaning and organization, as well as conduct monthly inventory of maintenance items. Monitor and inform the supervisor about expiration dates of fire extinguishers, water tank cleaning, and technical reports, according to the function’s schedule and checklist. Perform daily readings of water, electricity, and gas meters. Comply with company quality, safety, health, and environmental standards as defined by internal policies. Mandatory use of all PPE and uniforms per occupational safety regulations. Ensure full compliance with the function’s checklist. In public calamity situations, follow procedures outlined in the respective manual. Previous experience as General Services Assistant, Building Maintenance Assistant, Electrical Maintenance Assistant, or Mechanical Maintenance Assistant may indicate suitability for some of the responsibilities of this position.
