Performs preventive and corrective maintenance across various areas The Artisan is a multifunctional professional responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and minor construction work across various areas, such as masonry, carpentry, painting, and plumbing. This position requires manual dexterity to execute diverse hands-on tasks, ensuring the preservation and proper operation of facilities and equipment. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities and equipment, covering areas such as plumbing, masonry, painting, carpentry, and related fields. * Carry out minor repairs on physical structures, including walls, floors, doors, windows, and plumbing systems. * Install and assemble various items, such as furniture, shelves, partitions, lighting fixtures, and other required equipment. * Conduct periodic inspections of facilities to identify and rectify potential failures or repair needs. * Assist in organizing and maintaining the workplace, ensuring cleanliness and safety at locations where maintenance activities are performed. * Support minor construction projects by executing tasks such as surface preparation, painting, floor laying, and others. * Respond promptly to maintenance calls and requests, delivering timely and high-quality service to departments. * Manage usage and storage of tools and materials, requesting replenishment when necessary. * Adhere to occupational health and safety regulations, using personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring workplace safety. **Requirements:** * Completed high school education. * Prior experience in building maintenance or as an artisan. * Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, masonry, painting, and carpentry. * Ability to operate hand and power tools. * Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics. * Certifications in NR-10 and NR-35 (an advantage). * Availability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance requests.
