**About the Ocyan & Mota-Engil Consortium** The Ocyan & Mota-Engil Consortium was established in 2023 following the award of a strategic contract to Ocyan, in partnership with the Portuguese company Mota-Engil, to execute the revitalization of Petrobras’ gas network in the Campos Basin. The project marks an expansion of the companies’ involvement in offshore EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation) projects for subsea equipment. Activities will be carried out on the Namorado (PNA-1) and Garoupa (PGP-1) platforms, focusing on the installation of manifolds, flexible pipelines, and other high-complexity subsea equipment. The collaboration between Ocyan and Mota-Engil strengthens the Consortium’s expertise: on one side, Ocyan’s solid experience in the Brazilian oil and gas market; on the other, Mota-Engil’s recognized international presence, especially in Europe and Africa. We are seeking a Logistics Base Engineer to join the Project Operations team. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Serve as the focal point at logistics bases, ensuring operational continuity regarding equipment receipt, cargo handling, mobilization of the quay for port calls and load-outs—including transportation and related procedures. * Ensure execution of port call activities, guaranteeing adherence to schedules and contractual requirements, with emphasis on operational quality and efficiency. * Ensure that documentation—such as lifting plans for load-outs and backloads of vessels operating at the base—is properly prepared and accurate. * Lead the operations team, aligning tasks with project plans and operational objectives. * Support the Procurement team in managing supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and compliance of transportation, offloading, and equipment handling services. * Act as the project’s representative to the client, ensuring alignment and compliance of operations, preparation of RDOs, etc. * Monitor, together with Procurement, material logistics for logistics bases, ensuring timely delivery in accordance with project requirements. * Maintain constant communication and interface with internal and external teams, fostering strong relationships and collaboration to ensure operational success. * Identify opportunities for improvement in base operations, proposing procedural optimization and enhanced operational efficiency. * Record and share lessons learned and best practices related to performed activities, promoting continuous improvement within the team and organization. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Naval); * MBA or postgraduate degree in Project Management, Oil & Gas, or related fields; * Active CREA registration; * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; * Excellent negotiation and communication skills, combined with deep technical expertise; * Prior experience in team management, preferably multidisciplinary teams; * Prior experience in offshore operations, logistics bases, and/or remote locations; * Familiarity with operational documentation and contracts relevant to the discipline; * Intermediate English proficiency; The Ocyan & Mota-Engil Consortium was established in 2023 following the award of a strategic contract to Ocyan, in partnership with the Portuguese company Mota-Engil, to execute the revitalization of Petrobras’ gas network in the Campos Basin.
