**Job Description Summary** =========================== **Job Description** =================== **Position Description** We are seeking an **Inspection Assistant** to support departmental activities, contributing to receiving, inspection, and handling of parts and materials—always in compliance with quality, safety, and organization standards. **Responsibilities** * Perform basic inspections under supervision; * Receive parts and components; * Handle measurement and precision instruments; * Support handling, storage, transportation, packaging, and preservation of parts; * Conduct visual and dimensional inspections; * Read and interpret technical drawings; * Use electronic manuals to consult instructions and specifications; * Support SAP system usage for process recordkeeping and queries; * Comply with workplace safety, quality, and organization standards; * Support operational and administrative routines within the inspection area. **Requirements** * Completed high school education; * Basic computer skills; * Availability to work in an industrial environment; * Intermediate English (technical reading and interpretation). **Desired Characteristics** * Proactivity and positive attitude. * Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team. * Strong organizational sense and effective communication skills. * Availability to work rotating shifts (2nd shift, 3rd shift, and 4x4 schedule\). **Preferred Qualifications** * **CCT** (Theoretical Knowledge Certificate) for **GMP** (Powerplant Group) issued by ANAC; * Knowledge of continuous improvement processes; * Participation in the **GE Aerospace Young Apprentice Program.** GE Aerospace is an employer committed to **equal opportunity** in recruitment and selection.
