Leve Saúde is a Rio de Janeiro–based health insurance operator founded with the purpose of transforming how healthcare is delivered in Brazil. We believe that caring goes far beyond offering health plans—it means building relationships, truly listening, and being present throughout each person’s healthcare journey. From the outset, we have bet on a model that is closer, more welcoming, and more effective. With our own clinical teams and an integrated provider network, we deliver a lighter, more efficient, and patient-centered healthcare experience. **What drives us:** * Making healthcare more human and accessible. * Reducing bureaucracy and facilitating access to high-quality services. * Leveraging technology as an ally to improve healthcare experiences and outcomes. **How we do it:** * Through our own clinics, ready to serve with warmth and efficiency. * With a multidisciplinary team closely accompanying beneficiaries’ journeys. * With an internal team committed to innovation, quality, and purpose. The Product Owner is a central strategic role, primarily responsible for **maximizing the value** of deliveries and aligning business vision with team execution. Given the **high market demand and scarcity of qualified Product Owners**, it is recommended to maintain an active Talent Pool to **ensure agility in replacements** or in **scaling for new products**, thereby minimizing the risk of development team paralysis or inefficient prioritization. **Responsibilities and Duties** The Product Owner (PO) is the **guardian of product value**, serving as the essential bridge between business strategy and development team execution. We seek a professional passionate about solving complex problems and motivated to maximize the return on investment of every delivery. If you possess a clear vision, strong data-driven prioritization skills, and thrive at the heart of product creation, this role is for you! **Key Responsibilities** * **Product Backlog Management and Prioritization** * **Maximize Value:** Be the primary person accountable for maximizing the value of the product resulting from the Development Team’s work. * **Backlog Management:** Create, refine, prioritize, and maintain an organized and accessible Product Backlog. * **Item Definition:** Ensure backlog items are clear, transparent, and ready (DOR — Definition of Ready) for the team to work on, including requirements, acceptance criteria, and business value. * **Strategic Prioritization:** Define and communicate the priority order of backlog items, balancing stakeholder needs, user feedback, and the team’s delivery capacity. * **Vision, Connection, and Communication** * **Voice of the Customer:** Act as the primary representative of users and customers, ensuring the development team consistently builds solutions for real problems. * **Strategic Alignment:** Translate the product’s vision and strategic objectives into concrete deliverables each Sprint. * **Communication:** Explain the **"why"** and impact of each backlog item to the Development Team, fostering shared understanding. * **Stakeholder Engagement:** Actively involve stakeholders across all development stages to ensure alignment and transparency. * **Product Discovery and Validation** * **Leading Discovery:** Lead or support discovery initiatives to validate product hypotheses with users before development begins. * **Evidence-Based Decision-Making:** Bring data, user feedback, tested prototypes, and other evidence to the team and stakeholders, grounding prioritization decisions and reducing risk. * **Monitoring and Optimization via Metrics** * **Metric Definition:** Define and monitor key product success metrics (e.g., adoption, engagement, NPS, CSAT, revenue). * **Data Analysis:** Use product data to assess delivery impact, adjust the backlog, and continuously optimize the product. * **Transparency:** Present results and value generated (not just what was delivered) during Sprint Reviews and to leadership. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Prior experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in agile teams. * **Familiarity with the SCRUM methodology** and other agile frameworks. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills. * Demonstrated ability to translate strategic vision into tactical deliverables. * Analytical, data-driven mindset for making prioritization decisions. * Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment. We are **Leve Saúde**, the healthtech insurer that launched in Rio de Janeiro in September 2020, dedicated to people over 45 seeking high-quality healthcare at affordable prices. Our Operating Model rests on **three pillars**, reflecting our beliefs about healthcare management: * We believe **Digital Health** is an irreversible path—one already having—and increasingly will have—an extraordinary impact on healthcare management. - We believe the combination of **Primary Healthcare** and Digital Health represents the perfect convergence of past and future. Both are fundamental ingredients in achieving the right to healthier longevity. * We believe owning a **proprietary provider network** is a critical component of our model because it enables us to guarantee personalized, humanized, compassionate, and effective care. You’ll find our current job opportunities on this page. We’re rooting for you!
