The Amazon Logistics Brazil (AMZL) team is seeking an Operations Logistics Leader to join Amazon’s External Logistics Partners team. Operations will be conducted seven days per week, including holidays; therefore, working across various shifts will be part of this role. You will manage a team of external logistics partners, as well as lead a team of Amazon-employed logistics operations analysts, to ensure these partners’ performance and compliance. You will work in a highly collaborative environment that resembles a start\-up more than a large corporation. The mindset is that no idea is a bad idea—and the best ideas are those that should be tested and experimented with. You will be responsible for monitoring logistics partners’ performance and compliance, coordinating with internal and external teams. You will also support onboarding new logistics partners. This role requires someone highly willing to take ownership, skilled at identifying patterns and trends, and capable of examining details and analyzing data—delving deeply into root causes of operational issues and proposing solutions. Key job responsibilities Manage the Logistics Operations Analyst team; Serve as the primary point of contact and metric oversight for logistics partners responsible for delivery stations. Oversee logistics partners’ training and continuous improvement initiatives; Develop and track operational metrics with logistics partners; Analyze data from multiple sources and identify relevant trends to enable rapid, business-critical decisions; Identify practical and simple solutions to complex problems; Act as the liaison between internal and external stakeholders, aligning objectives, constraints, compliance, and information privacy; Deeply investigate root causes of operational problems. **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** ------------------------ * Bachelor's degree or equivalent * Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays * Speak, write, and read fluently in English * Experience in employee and performance management **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** ---------------------------- * Experience with performance metrics and process improvement and Lean techniques Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
