Support follow-up of import and export processes. **Job Description Summary** =========================== **Job Description** =================== **Role Summary/Purpose** The Foreign Trade Intern will support the foreign trade team in developing procedures, metrics, and project monitoring. **Essential Responsibilities** Assist, under supervision, in carrying out various foreign trade activities, including: * Monitoring and assisting in the implementation of new procedures and audits of departmental processes; * Assisting in preparing reports and metrics; * Assisting in drafting and updating operational procedures; * Supporting improvement project development; * Collaborating in the creation and maintenance of productivity tools; * Supporting follow-up of import and export processes. **Qualifications/Requirements** * Currently enrolled in Production Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, International Relations, or Foreign Trade programs, preferably from the fourth semester onward; * Advanced English proficiency; * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. **Desired Characteristics** * Ability to work effectively in a team * Practical experience with improvement projects and productivity tool development * Ability to communicate across various functional levels * Strong interpersonal skills * Pro\-activity * Critical thinking and analytical capability GE Aerospace is an equal opportunity employer in its recruitment and selection process.
