Description
The Ocyan \& Mota\-Engil Consortium was established in 2023 following the award of a strategic contract to Ocyan, in partnership with the Portuguese company Mota\-Engil, to execute the revitalization of Petrobras' gas network in the Campos Basin.
This project marks the expansion of the companies' involvement in offshore EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation) projects for subsea equipment. Activities will be carried out on the Namorado (PNA\-1\) and Garoupa (PGP\-1\) platforms, focusing on the installation of manifolds, flexible pipelines, and other high-complexity subsea equipment.
The partnership between Ocyan and Mota\-Engil strengthens the Consortium's expertise: on one side, Ocyan's solid experience in the Brazilian oil and gas market; on the other, Mota\-Engil's internationally recognized presence, especially in Europe and Africa.
We are seeking a **Project Engineer** to join our Onshore Operations team.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Develop integrated operational planning for offshore campaigns, with emphasis on execution (sequencing, operational windows, and productivity).
* Consolidate subsea installation and interconnection strategies developed by installation engineers into a centralized operational schedule.
* Prepare and manage executive schedules reflecting operational constraints, interfaces, and the actual critical path of execution.
* Integrate engineering, logistics, procurement, and operations disciplines in building the execution plan.
* Conduct operational schedule simulations in response to change management processes and requirements to modify the project’s operational sequence—whether due to Client requests, changes in execution strategy, conflict resolution, or delays in supply chain deliveries, fabrication, or engineering.
* Develop and review execution methodologies considering vessel limitations, equipment constraints, and environmental conditions.
* Incorporate into the schedule actions arising from operational risk analyses (HAZID, SIMOPS, critical interfaces, and contingencies).
* Interface directly with vessel owners, offshore teams, operational support bases, and suppliers to define sequencing, productivity, and resource allocation.
* Monitor operational performance (productivity, cycle times, vessel efficiency) and propose optimizations.
* Assess impacts of changes to the execution plan, ensuring adherence to schedule and cost targets.
* Act as the liaison between the Operations discipline and both operational planning and offshore execution, as well as the interface between planning and other disciplines.
* Develop and integrate dashboards and data analyses (Power BI, SAP, and Excel), focusing on managing operational KPIs, performance indicators, and productivity assessment using S-curves and histograms.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Naval, Civil, or Mechanical);
* Knowledge of project planning with focus on execution (Primavera P6, MS Project).
* Proficiency in data and BI (Power BI, KPIs, dashboards)
* Productivity analysis and operational time studies / Practical experience in offshore campaigns
* Critical reading of engineering documents with focus on executability (layouts, procedures, MDRs).
* Familiarity with technical standards and specifications (DNV, API, Petrobras ETs)
* Knowledge of offshore logistics and campaign mobilization.
* Experience in personnel logistics (POB), materials, and embarkation
