Knowledge of predictive maintenance (preferred) **Job Description** --------------------- We are seeking an experienced professional to work onboard, supporting multiple contracts, primarily focused on conducting **fire pump performance testing in compliance with NFPA 20 and NFPA 25 standards**. The professional will be responsible for performing static and dynamic pressure tests, developing centrifugal pump performance curves, conducting hydraulic calculations, and issuing accurate technical reports. Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques (vibration analysis, thermography, balancing, and shaft alignment) will be considered a preferred qualification. **Responsibilities** --------------------- * Perform static and dynamic pressure tests (Pitot test) on fire pumps, in accordance with the criteria specified in NFPA 20 and NFPA 25\. * Develop centrifugal pump performance curves (flow vs. pressure vs. speed) and compare them against the manufacturer's reference curve. * Perform calculations of manometric head and other hydraulic parameters of the pumping system. * Measure and analyze flow rate, rotational speed (RPM), and electrical parameters of motor-pump sets (electric and diesel-powered). * Inspect components of the pumping system: flow meters, pressure gauges, supervisory valves, piping, fittings, and other devices specified in applicable standards. * Issue technical reports and compliance reports for conducted tests, including accurate diagnostics and recommendations. * Plan test routes and frequencies (weekly for diesel motor-pumps, monthly for electric motor-pumps, and annual performance testing), ensuring adherence to the schedule. * Record all activities and test histories in the company’s management systems (e.g., Mantec/GMP). * Ensure compliance with safety requirements during test execution. **Requirements** -------------- * Technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Maintenance (currently enrolled or completed). * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (currently enrolled or completed) \- Preferred; * ABENDI certification \- Preferred; * Knowledge of fire pump testing per NFPA 20 and NFPA 25 (Pitot test, static and dynamic pressure tests). * Development of centrifugal pump performance curves. * Calculation of manometric head. * Knowledge of hydraulics, flow measurement, rotational speed, and electrical parameters. * Certification in NR regulations and predictive techniques. **Benefits** -------------- * Meal Allowance; * Semapi Listening + Namu Program; * Semapi Education Program; * Health Insurance: Co-payment \| Porto Seguro; * Dental Insurance: Co-payment \| AMIL. * Life Insurance; * Transportation and accommodation covered by the company. * OBS: Intermittent Employment Contract
