Performing basic inspection and preventive maintenance on the forklift A natural products store seeks a Forklift Operator in Duque de Caxias (Centro). **Responsibilities:** Operate forklifts (retractable electric) to handle cargo within the workplace. Perform loading and unloading of merchandise, ensuring correct positioning for storage or transportation. Maintain product organization and proper stacking according to safety specifications. Inspect and perform basic preventive maintenance on the forklift, checking oil, water, fuel levels, and other safety items. Complete merchandise handling reports, identifying products and updating inventory. Ensure proper equipment operation and report any repair or maintenance needs. Follow safety regulations and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
