Civil Designer

Description

Responsible for the preparation, analysis, updating, and development of engineering projects focused on water supply and sewage systems, ensuring technical compliance, standardization, adherence to applicable regulations, and alignment with the client's operational requirements. Engages in developing technical solutions, conducting field information surveys, and providing technical support throughout the entire project lifecycle—from conception to final documentation delivery (“as\-built”), with a primary focus on water supply network projects. **Job Responsibilities** * Preparation and development of water supply and sewage network projects; * Preparation of technical documents, drawings, layouts, profiles, specifications, and supplementary project documentation; * Conducting field information surveys to support project development and revision; * Development of technical solutions for expansion, adaptation, improvement, and extension of sanitation systems; * Analysis and review of existing projects, promoting updates to the technical repository and necessary adjustments; * Technical evaluation and coordination of internally developed projects and/or those delivered by contracted companies; * Technical support during the project approval process with the client and other involved departments; * Preparation and updating of technical documentation and “as\-built” projects; * Technical support during construction execution to resolve interferences and engineering pending items; * Participation in internal and external technical meetings to align requirements and solutions; * Ensuring compliance with technical standards, internal standards, and client-specific requirements; * Supporting technical feasibility analysis of alternative project designs. **Desired Qualifications and Experience** * Technical or undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, Sanitation, or related fields; * Experience in preparing water supply and sewage network projects; * Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings; * Knowledge of water distribution and sewage collection system criteria and concepts; * Familiarity with technical drawing tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software; * GIS/QGIS tool knowledge is desirable; * Experience in projects for sanitation concessionaires is desirable.
