Mechanical Inspector III

**Job Responsibilities:*** Performs established practices and procedures for the position.
* Responsible for properly operating and maintaining equipment and tools under their responsibility.
* Responsible for complying with departmental safety standards and using personal protective equipment (PPE) as specified in the Basic PPE Matrix for their area.
* Maintains order and cleanliness in accordance with the area’s program.
* Actively participates in ENADs and contributes to continuous improvement processes.
* Works under the Quality Management System.
* Participates in training, safety, and technical courses scheduled by the company.
* Undergoes medical examinations when required by the company and at times designated by the company.
* Responsible for complying with the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and Internal Work Regulations.
**Additional Job Responsibilities:**
* Remain near assigned equipment and allocate at least 70% of working time utilizing required resources (inspection checklists, instruments, specialized equipment, etc.).
* Be responsible for executing all simple ad-hoc tasks arising from their own inspections. Additionally, execute and/or supervise special tasks (even those outside their area of responsibility) when plant requirements, experience, and qualifications so demand.
* Update inspection plans, lubrication schedules, preventive and predictive controls, safety practices, and release cards in SAP, using inspection forms, preventive and corrective plans, and emergency alerts.
* Review spare parts requirements based on inspection results using SAP, and ensure immediate repair coordination with the zone workshop and warehouse.
* Ensure availability of necessary resources (spare parts, materials, labor, vehicles, and material-handling machinery) and execution of scheduled services for areas under their responsibility.
* Monitor equipment operation together with operators to obtain appropriate feedback on performance.
* Manage information for scheduling purposes, validating data quality, determining whether repairs are daily, scheduled, or extraordinary, and assessing respective priorities.
* Promote and support Maintenance Engineering in their area, negotiating required resources.
* Be fully engaged with the results of their production lines and auxiliary services.
* Maintain a minimum stock of functional sub-assemblies, with all related information updated in the Maintenance Management System.
* Ensure compliance with the Environmental Plan applicable to their own area.
* Become the “Technical Reference” for equipment within their area and specialization, serving as support for shift teams and staff departments.
Prerequisites:
Mechanical Technician and/or related fields.
Valid CFT certification.
Experience in the described activities.
