Join us in living the new! **ATTENTION: AXIA Energia does not charge fees for tests, medical exams, or participation in the selection process.** **Responsibilities and Duties** **Job Description:** Lead the development and implementation of advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence models at the ATMOS Monitoring Center. The objective is to enhance weather monitoring and forecasting as a tool in operational and maintenance processes for AXIA Energia’s generation and transmission assets—leveraging data-driven insights to minimize the impact of adverse weather on the company. **Key Activities:** * Analyze large volumes of meteorological and climatological data from diverse sources \- including numerical weather prediction models and operational data (real-time and historical); * Develop predictive algorithms based on data training to identify patterns and relationships for critical weather events; * Create algorithms and scripts to automate meteorological and climatological analysis and forecasting processes; * Build interactive dashboards and analytical reports; * Collaborate with meteorologists, engineers, and analysts to interpret data in the context of applied meteorology for operation, management, and maintenance of transmission and generation assets—as well as other business areas within AXIA Energia. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Requirements:** * Completed undergraduate degree in Data Science, Meteorology, Engineering, Statistics, Systems Analysis, or related fields; * Proficiency in Machine Learning, Statistical Modeling, and Artificial Intelligence techniques applied to meteorology, climatology, and environmental engineering; * Strong command of programming languages such as Python or R, with experience in libraries including Pandas, NumPy, Scikit\-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch; * Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, real-time data processing, and Big Data tools; * Excellence in creating interactive dashboards (Power BI) and decision-support visualizations; * Familiarity with data architectures, ETL pipelines, and cloud environments. **Desirable Requirements:** * Postgraduate degree or certifications in Machine Learning, Data Analytics, or Artificial Intelligence; * Experience with operational meteorological data, predictive modeling, and system integration is a significant advantage. **Additional Information** **Benefits:** At AXIA Energia, the well-being and quality of life of our people fuel the energy that drives us forward.
