Job Summary: We are seeking an Electrical Engineer - Protection Specialist with solid understanding of electrical design, installations, and technical standards to coordinate tests on power electrical systems. Key Highlights: 1. Coordinate services and tests on motors, generators, and transformers 2. Develop and implement electrical/electro-electronic systems projects 3. Ensure protection of power electrical systems We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer \- Protection Specialist to join our team in RJ and BH. The ideal candidate must possess solid knowledge of electrical design, electrical installations, and technical standards. This position requires a professional capable of coordinating services related to testing motors and generators, transformers, circuit breakers, relays, contactors, electrical panels, meters, etc., as well as ensuring protection of power electrical systems. RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify needs, propose solutions, perform analysis and specifications for electrical / electro-electronic systems projects; Ensure, develop, implement, guide, and maintain electrical / electro-electronic systems projects; Develop specifications, drawings, and other requirements to enable development of product/service scope according to appropriate technical standards; Identify resource requirements (Hardware, Software, and technical personnel); Perform and/or coordinate services related to testing motors/generators, transformers, circuit breakers, relays, contactors, electrical panels, meters, etc.; Develop and sign technical reports; Conduct technical visits to clients when requested; Coordinate field teams and teams at MI Electric facilities; Participate in equipment, machinery, and installation failure analyses through reports to contribute to evaluation and action plan development; Prepare Daily Construction Reports (RDO) when necessary; Submit Time Sheets when necessary; Contribute to continuous improvement of the SGI. Requirements: NR 10 training; NR 34 training; CBSP and HUET certifications.
