




Description: Job Description: Automation Engineer to develop and implement industrial automation solutions, as well as support budgeting activities, covering PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, instrumentation, and electrical control systems—from technical conception through final commissioning. Responsible for designing, integrating, and estimating costs of control systems, ensuring the technical and financial feasibility of company projects. Key Responsibilities: * Develop automation architecture (PLC, HMI, SCADA systems, and networks) according to process and customer requirements; * Program and configure Siemens controllers (Step7, TIA Portal) and Rockwell controllers (ControlLogix, Studio 5000); * Create operator interfaces and SCADA systems (WinCC, FactoryTalk View SE/ME, TIA Portal including Unified); * Integrate inverters, soft starters, remote I/O modules, and intelligent instruments (Profinet, Profibus, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP); * Size and specify process instrumentation (pressure, flow, level, temperature, conductivity, control valves, etc.); * Interpret and review P&IDs, electrical diagrams, I/O lists, and interlocks; * Configure and calibrate instruments, validating analog and digital signals; * Prepare technical automation budgets, including material take-offs, labor hours, and indirect costs; * Participate in technical and commercial meetings with clients, clarifying scope-related questions and cross-disciplinary interfaces; * Plan and execute validation tests (FAT/SAT), ensuring compliance with scope and integration quality; * Document test reports, open items, and corrective action plans; * Support operational and maintenance training for end customers; * Support development of internal automation and instrumentation manuals and standards; Education: Bachelor’s degree in Automation and Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Mandatory Requirements: Proven experience as an Automation Engineer. Desirable Requirements: Experience in engineering, construction, or industrial service companies.
