Job Summary: A company is seeking a Metalworker with expertise in specialized welding to work in the manufacturing, maintenance, and rental of rescue and safety equipment. Key Highlights: 1. Application of metrology concepts for quality control **A renowned company operating in the field of manufacturing, maintenance, and rental of rescue, safety, and environmental protection equipment is hiring a Metalworker.** Responsibilities: * Performing GTAW/TIG (primary), MIG/MAG, and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) processes, as applicable; * Interpreting technical drawings, isometric drawings, and engineering specifications; * Preparing joints and materials, including cutting, fitting, beveling, and proper cleaning of stainless steel; * Thermal control during welding and prevention of distortions, especially when welding stainless steel; * Finishing welds, including wire brushing, polishing, and removal of oxidation; * Using stainless steel alloys (e.g., 304, 316, 310, duplex, etc.); * Conducting quality inspections, including visual testing (VT), dimensional measurements, leak tests, and basic integrity checks; * Applying metrology concepts for dimensional control and process quality assurance. Location: Jardim Nossa Senhora da Piedade \- Magé/RJ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:45 PM, with a 1 hour and 15 minute lunch break. Compensation: Monthly salary of R$ 3\.845,00 \+ Transportation Allowance \+ Meal/Voucher Allowance. Requirements: * Prior experience in this role; \- Professional training course in TIG/Stainless Steel Welding or SMAW \- Certification issued by ABNT, SENAI, or equivalent; * Welder Qualification (WQ) per ASME/ABNT standards.
