This role is essential for maintaining efficient workflow and ensuring the quality of meals served to employees. #### **Main Responsibilities:** Prepare and cut food items such as meats, vegetables, and greens following instructions from the cook or head chef. Perform ingredient sanitation and cleaning to ensure they are suitable for dish preparation. Assist in plating, preparing side dishes, sauces, and other accompaniments. Carry out support tasks such as peeling, grating, chopping, or slicing food items. Organize and sanitize kitchen utensils and equipment. Clean and organize the workplace, including washing dishes and utensils. Receive and inspect deliveries, verifying product quality and quantity. Manage food inventory, maintain updated records, and report replenishment needs. Comply with food hygiene and safety standards, adhering to established procedures and guidelines. Collaborate with the kitchen team during meal preparation, responding to requests and working harmoniously. #### **Mandatory Requirements:** Prior experience as a Kitchen Assistant or in similar roles. Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food handling. Ability to follow instructions and comply with hygiene and safety standards. Agility and manual dexterity for tasks such as cutting and food preparation. Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff. Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
