Job Summary: The Repair Assistant performs various technical activities, including fitting, masking, preparation and treatment of components, painting, abrasive blasting, and forming, interacting with the team to ensure correct understanding. Active interaction and communication with the team. **Job Description Summary** =========================== Repair Assistant**Job Description** =================== **Essential Responsibilities:** Depending on your area of expertise, you may perform: Fitting; Masking; Preparation of equipment and components for treatment receipt. Painting and Thermal Treatment: Application of Chemical Products; Preparation and Cleaning of Components for contaminant removal; Apply "Stop\-off" and perform simpler applications of brazing products. Operation of Abrasive Blasting Machines. Forming: Perform cold and hot forming on components; Machining: Perform fitting; Prepare components and carry out finishing; Assist in component machining activities. Communication: Capable of interacting with the team, seeking guidance and assistance. Verify that your understanding is correct. Mandatory Requirements * High School Diploma. * Training in (Fitting, Lathe, Milling, Industrial Mechanics). * Basic Technical English is desirable. Availability: Willingness to work on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. Desirable: Participation in GE CELMA’s Mechanical Apprentice or Technical Internship Program.
