Job Summary: We are seeking a temporary carpenter to perform carpentry services, carry out repairs and restorations, and maintain the Fairmont Rio hotel. Key Highlights: 1. We are looking for a **TEMPORARY CARPENTER**: **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform carpentry services on hotel furniture, doors, panels, baseboards, and other wooden structures; * Carry out repairs, adjustments, restorations, and fine finishing on wooden components, ensuring high quality and aesthetic standards; * Fabricate, adapt, and restore furniture and components according to temporary operational needs and hotel standards; * Safely and efficiently use hand and power tools, such as saws, sanders, planers, and drills; * Perform sanding, assembly, gluing, and application of varnishes, sealers, or other finishes; * Maintain furniture, equipment, tools, and work areas throughout the contract period. **Requirements and Qualifications:** * Completed high school education; * Proven prior experience as a carpenter; * Experience in hospitality or high-end environments will be considered a plus; * Knowledge of wood types, hardware, finishes, and carpentry techniques; * Familiarity with occupational safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment.
