Work on improvements and new technologies to make lubrication increasingly effective; develop new projects to reduce costs associated with lubricant waste and related issues.**Responsibilities** ==================== * **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Lubricate all mechanical equipment (machines, conveyors, overhead cranes, elevators, motors, etc.) using various greases and oils, as well as specialized lubrication pumps; * Clean cups, sieves, filters, and sight glasses by removing them with appropriate tools, washing them with suitable cleaning agents, and reinstalling them in their original positions; * Disassemble oil pipelines, distributors, and oil pumps from mills to perform cleaning and inspection; * Recover contaminated oil using a filter press, filtration trolley, and store the filtered oil for reuse (if required); * Conduct regular inspections of machine operations, complete checklists, and escalate incidents that may impair production or endanger operational staff to the area manager for timely decision-making; * Operate aerial work platforms for tasks requiring work at height; * Perform workplace cleaning, removing waste generated during service execution to maintain optimal working conditions and prevent product contamination. * Complete parts, components, and accessories requisition forms required for maintenance activities and submit them to the warehouse and/or manager for procurement department follow-up, ensuring timely maintenance execution; * Record all performed actions (completed or pending) in work orders, specifying resources used, time spent, solution types, involved teams, and other required information to maintain a comprehensive maintenance history; * Log completed work orders in the maintenance management system with all information contained in the work orders; * Conduct preliminary critical analysis of failures during corrective service execution to assist engineering in identifying root causes; * Propose necessary improvements and corrections to lubrication plans, following manufacturers' specifications; * Generate work orders to repair damaged items identified during lubrication route execution; * Support/perform lubrication interventions based on predictive maintenance reports; * Evaluate existing lubrication plans and develop improvement opportunities for factory lubrication plans by assessing correct lubricant specifications, volume, and frequency per equipment. * Perform repairs, as needed, on damaged skids within the production process. * Occasionally move materials using industrial vehicles while complying with company safety and environmental regulations. **Minimum Qualifications** ========================== **Relevant experience preferred.** **Required Education/Knowledge:** Mechanical technician; ability to read and interpret technical drawings. **Other Desired Courses/Specific Knowledge:** SENAI (Technician and/or CAI); experience in rubber manufacturing or similar industries; experience in root cause analysis. **What We Offer as a Company** At Bridgestone, what truly matters is generating opportunities for co-creation while simultaneously stimulating your curiosity and creativity to make mobility safer, more efficient, and more sustainable for present and future generations.
