




Job Summary: Pequeno Cotolengo Joinvilense is seeking a Physical Therapist to supervise and guide a multiprofessional team, optimize processes, and ensure excellence in care for people with disabilities. Pequeno Cotolengo Joinvilense is a nonprofit Civil Society Organization dedicated to specialized care, inclusion, and the promotion of dignity for children, youth, and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), intellectual disability, and rehabilitation needs. Inspired by the charism of Saint Luigi Orione, it integrates science, faith, and health innovation, offering humane and high-quality care. Affiliated with the Congregation of the Little Work of Divine Providence – Saint Luigi Orione, present in 34 countries, it operates based on solidarity, love, and dedication to the most vulnerable. The Joinville unit covers a total area of 100,000 m², with 700 m² of built infrastructure, including consultation rooms, rehabilitation rooms, a Peanuts-themed playroom, sensory spaces, and facilities prepared for future equine-assisted therapy services. Care is delivered by a highly qualified interdisciplinary team applying international protocols such as ABA, Pediasuit, and Bobath. All activities are sustained by partners and donors, with resources used transparently and responsibly to generate real impact in patients’ lives. Pequeno Cotolengo Joinvilense is the first branch of the Pequeno Cotolengo Health Complex, whose headquarters in Curitiba has operated for over 60 years. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Supervise and guide a multiprofessional team composed of professionals from various fields, fostering a collaborative, ethical, and motivating work environment. * Establish clear and achievable goals and objectives aligned with the organization’s guidelines and mission. Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in work processes and interdisciplinary integration. * Regularly monitor and evaluate individual and collective team performance, providing constructive feedback and implementing corrective actions when necessary to ensure quality, productivity, and compliance with organizational standards. * Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in work processes and interdisciplinary collaboration. * Regularly assess individual and collective team performance and implement corrective measures when needed to ensure compliance with quality and productivity standards. * Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the multidisciplinary team’s daily operations. * Distribute tasks and responsibilities equitably, considering individual skills and project requirements. * Develop and implement strategies to optimize team performance and achieve consistent results. * Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in work processes and interdisciplinary collaboration. * Prepare documents and support organizational projects. * Coordinate meetings for case discussions and therapeutic plan development. * Facilitate effective communication among members of the multidisciplinary team. * Resolve conflicts and promote an inclusive and respectful work environment. * Record incidents, medical certificates, and leave requests in the management system, performing daily verification. * Develop and update policies, regulations, and other documents related to the activity. * Develop, monitor, and report indicators supporting the improvement of clinical service effectiveness and fulfillment of assistance contracts signed by the organization, using Quality tools (Pipefy, Qualyteam). * Design and deliver training sessions, together with the Permanent Education Nucleus (NEP), and symposia for organizational staff on relevant topics. * Support supervision of direct and indirect supervised internships, as well as multidisciplinary residencies related to the specialty, ensuring formative experiences align with the institution’s pedagogical objectives. * Prepare and monitor the description and execution of projects relevant to subordinates, addressing demands, clarifying doubts, and responding directly to the requesting department.
