Job Summary: A professional responsible for collecting, preparing, and organizing biological samples; assisting in the performance of tests; and maintaining a clean and organized laboratory in compliance with biosafety regulations. Hospital seeks a Laboratory Assistant in Jaraguá do Sul (Downtown). **Responsibilities:** Collect, receive, and prepare biological samples (e.g., blood, urine, feces) for testing. Organize, label, and store samples correctly. Assist laboratory technicians and biomedical professionals in performing laboratory tests. Record information and results in systems or spreadsheets. Maintain a clean, organized laboratory equipped with necessary materials. Ensure proper storage and validity of reagents and supplies. Follow biosafety regulations and hygiene procedures. Support quality control and verification of laboratory test results. Previous experience as a Laboratory Technician, Laboratory Intern, Laboratory Assistant, or Laboratory Analyst may indicate suitability for some of the duties associated with this position. Ongoing undergraduate education required.
