Conduct internal and external audits. **Job Description:** Responsible for administering the company's taxes, recording accounting events and facts, preparing ancillary obligations—such as tax-related declarations to tax authorities, competent agencies, and taxpayers—and managing the registration of books with appropriate agencies; and conducting internal and external audits. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Manage Fixed Assets; * Receive and analyze invoices designated for Fixed Assets; * Classify items in the Fixed Asset module of the internal system; * Reconcile fixed asset control records against monthly acquisitions; * Validate physical inventory of fixed assets; * Calculate monthly depreciation and import data into accounting systems; * Issue invoices related to fixed assets for movements and disposals; * Register fixed asset products in the internal system; * Initiate ICMS reimbursement processes for Petrobahia and similar entities; * Monitor ICMS reimbursement requests at SEFAZ-BA COPEC and prepare all documentation required for submission and processing of reimbursement requests; * Check all invoices on the SEFAZ-BA portal to verify whether the customer has confirmed interstate transactions, for printing confirmation of all invoices; * Visit SEFAZ-BA COPEC to submit ICMS reimbursement processes and monitor monthly progress of such processes; * Monitor invoices issued by similar entities that include amounts eligible for ICMS reimbursement.
