




Job Summary: Perform activities related to accounting, tax, and associated processes, ensuring reports and records comply with legislation and deadlines. Key Highlights: 1. Planning and execution of accounting, tax, and fiscal routines. 2. Preparation of financial statements and tax returns. 3. Handling tax audits and tax planning. Perform activities related to accounting, tax, and associated processes, aiming to ensure that all accounting reports and records are prepared in accordance with applicable principles, standards, and legislation, within the deadlines and procedures established by the Company. **PLAN, ADVISE, GUIDE, AND EXECUTE:** * Review classification, analyses, bookkeeping, and processing of ledgers: Journal, General Ledger, LALUR, Cash Book, and others as required; * Monthly trial balance preparation, accompanied by related analyses and reconciliations; * Quarterly preparation of financial statements for disclosure, including: Balance Sheet, * Statement of Income, Statement of Cash Flows, and Statement of Changes in Equity; * Annual preparation of Corporate Income Tax Return; * Handling tax audits; * Monthly preparation of GIA – ICMS; * Annual preparation of DECLAN – IPM; * Issuance of negative certificates at Federal, State, and Municipal levels; * Preparation of applications and/or petitions addressed to tax authorities at any level; * Short-, medium-, and long-term tax planning in collaboration with the Administrative/Finance Management, aiming to minimize the Company’s tax burden through all available legal means; * Performing related activities; * Compliance with the Integrated Management System guidelines; * Developing action plans and verifying effectiveness to meet the Integrated Management System requirements; * Identifying nonconformities (NCRs), addressing them, and implementing corrective actions where appropriate; * Defining, measuring, monitoring, and communicating sector performance indicators and any improvement needs. * Performing activities covered by departmental procedures and related tasks, as well as those required by the Integrated Management System. * Adhering to the Integrated Management System Policy, whereby each individual is responsible for the Quality, Health, and Safety aspects of their activities, as well as for environmental preservation during their performance. **Mandatory:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences, with active registration at CRC (Regional Council of Accounting); * Experience in accounting, tax, and fiscal routines; * Knowledge of tax legislation; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). * Must reside in Macaé or adjacent cities. * Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. * Advanced/Fluent English. **Desirable:** * Experience in auditing or controller functions. * Advanced Excel skills will be considered a differentiating factor.
