




Job Summary: The Engineering Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing multidisciplinary teams and contracts, interfacing with clients, coordinating and monitoring projects, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance. Every day, we have the opportunity to do something new—and you can be part of it. **\#JoinVC** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Management of multidisciplinary teams; * Contract management; * Interface with internal clients; * Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects under your responsibility; * Interact daily with clients, partners, and service providers (contractors) to interpret their field needs and requirements; * Perform overall quality control of work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel performance) and regularly report project status; * Assign responsibilities and guide the project team regarding field supervision and inspection; * Conduct managerial meetings with the engineering team, the project team, and construction & installation companies; * Participate in technical meetings with the engineering team and/or external suppliers, contributing ideas and suggestions to improve the project or processes; * Cooperate and communicate effectively with the project manager and other project participants to provide technical assistance and support; * Analyze and review developed (received) engineering deliverables for execution and initiate appropriate corrective actions with engineering companies; * Support the engineering team prior to implementation in project integration, verifying interfaces with other areas or industrial departments and disciplines, checking legal aspects, aiming to facilitate construction execution within cost and schedule constraints; * Prepare technical progress reports (monitoring and performance); * Develop action plans for risk mitigation; * Develop and monitor schedules; * Manage project change requests or those arising from site activities with designers and consultants; * Strengthen safety culture across all project fronts—from conceptual stage through field implementation—ensuring the safety of all directly and indirectly involved employees. * Possess strong interpersonal communication skills, adaptability to change, flexibility in executing projects, and a critical mindset to identify and mitigate risks during project execution. * Strategically support the preparation of the project’s construction & installation budget and tender documents by assisting in studies to determine required financial, human, material, equipment, and new technology resources necessary for project execution. Ensure execution quality by enforcing adherence to detailed design and compliance with Votorantim Cimentos’ standards, norms, and procedures. * **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; * Proven technical career in Project Coordination roles for mechanical project implementation within cement industry companies (preferably) or mining companies; * Intermediate-level English proficiency (reading, speaking, and writing); * Experience executing mechanical projects, covering detailed engineering, manufacturing, construction, installation, commissioning, and startup phases; * Preferred experience in implementing and constructing Cement Plant Projects (all process stages and/or Hot Areas such as grinding mills and rotary kilns); * Field experience in civil works including earthworks, piling, foundations, and superstructures; * Willingness to travel. **Additional Information** We value all forms of diversity and encourage you to learn more about this opportunity below.
