




Job Summary: A professional responsible for the collection and preparation of biological samples, ensuring quality, safety, and humanization, as well as supporting laboratory and regulatory routines. Support in laboratory routines and compliance with biosafety regulations. Perform biological sample collection with quality, safety, and humanization, while also supporting preparation, registration, organization, and dispatch of samples for analysis, ensuring compliance with technical standards, internal protocols, and regulatory requirements. * Perform venous, capillary, and other biological sample collections following appropriate techniques and biosafety protocols, ensuring humane and appropriate patient care. * Centrifuge, prepare, package, and correctly identify samples, ensuring traceability and guaranteeing proper handling, processing, storage, and transport of biological samples. * Instruct patients on necessary preparations for tests. * Ensure organization and sanitation of the collection site, as well as of used materials. * Monitor collection supply inventory and report replenishment needs. * Welcome patients with courtesy, empathy, and professionalism. * Comply with biosafety regulations and internal laboratory protocols. * Support preventive and corrective equipment maintenance when required. * Collaborate in internal and external audit processes. * Maintain departmental organization, safeguarding supplies, materials, and the work environment. * Dispose of biological waste in accordance with biosafety regulations. * Be familiar with test execution instructions. * Complete and manage department-specific forms (e.g., maintenance logs, external quality control records, temperature monitoring). * Archive department documents per supervision instructions. * Assist in the development and revision of area-specific documents. * Notify municipal health authorities of suspected or confirmed notifiable disease cases. * Request equipment maintenance, repairs, and replacements under one’s responsibility whenever necessary, maintaining appropriate records.
