Cut fabrics according to provided patterns and measurements. Sew garments or other textile items manually or using sewing machines. Perform alterations and repairs on garments and other textile items. Ensure quality and precision in stitching and finishing. Maintain a clean and organized workplace. Previous experience as a seamstress, tailor, fashion designer, or dressmaker may indicate suitability for some of the tasks associated with this position. High school diploma required.
