Cut fabrics according to patterns. Sew garments or other textile items manually or using sewing machines. Perform adjustments and repairs on garments and other textile items. Carry out finishing work, such as hems and invisible seams. Previous experience as a Dressmaker, Seamstress, Fashion Designer, or Tailor may indicate suitability for some of the tasks associated with this position. High school diploma required.
