The mission is to transform our distribution into a competitive differentiator—ensuring not just delivery, but delivery perceived as valuable by our customers. **EAST REGION:** The central and immediate challenge will be stabilizing and optimizing operations in the East Region (from MG to PA), turning it into a national benchmark for efficiency and reliability. **SOUTH REGION:** The goal is to implement delight-driven initiatives that differentiate us from competitors—leveraging process intelligence without increasing costs. **Activities:** **Lead Diagnosis and Stabilization of East Operations:** Identify root causes of current instability (whether related to processes, systems, teams, or suppliers) and design a robust action plan to ensure consistency and predictability in deliveries. **Map the Customer Journey:** Understand every customer touchpoint with our logistics—from order confirmation through final delivery—identifying friction points and improvement opportunities. **Elevate Service Level (“Serve with Value”):** Redefine and implement service standards that translate logistical efficiency into tangible customer value. This means going beyond basic SLAs—focusing on proactive communication, accuracy, and flexibility. **Optimize the Logistics Network:** Critically assess current distribution plans and propose/implement improvements that optimize costs without compromising service quality or stability. **Develop “Zero-Cost” Delight Initiatives:** Create and implement initiatives that surprise customers without adding operational cost. Examples: **Proactive Communication:** Notify customers about deliveries *before* they ask. **Intelligent Flexibility:** Offer small, convenient delivery window adjustments for customers—without disrupting planned routes. **Structured Feedback:** Establish a simple channel for customers to evaluate deliveries—and use that feedback to train teams and drivers. **Develop a High-Performance Team:** Lead your team by cultivating an “owner’s mindset,” solution-oriented focus, and dissatisfaction with the status quo. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Prerequisites:** * Experience leading logistics/distribution teams. Hands-on experience managing complex transportation operations (route planning, fleet management, carrier negotiations). Proficiency in logistics management tools (TMS, WMS) and strong analytical skills (Advanced Excel, Power BI or similar). * SAP experience is a plus.
