





**Objective:** * Operate ground emergency vehicles for patient care and transport. The employee, assigned to the originating base, responds to emergency calls by traveling to incidents on public roads, businesses, residences, clinics, and hospitals as directed by the emergency dispatch center. **Responsibilities:** * Conduct daily fleet inspection checklist — including the on-duty vehicle and reserve vehicles; * Initiate Service Orders and notify supervisors and the fleet maintenance department whenever mechanical, electrical, or other maintenance is required, and monitor resolution of maintenance issues; * Participate in training and continuing education programs on pre-hospital care, traffic legislation, and defensive driving; * Immediately inform supervisors of any traffic accidents involving the vehicle, with or without injuries, and follow company-established procedures; * Possess comprehensive knowledge of the vehicle and perform basic maintenance; * Be thoroughly familiar with the local road network; * Know the locations of all healthcare facilities integrated into the local healthcare system; * Assist the healthcare team with basic life support maneuvers, immobilization techniques, and victim transportation; * Perform basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR); * Identify all types of equipment carried in emergency response vehicles and their respective uses, to assist the healthcare team; **Prerequisites:** * High school diploma; CNH Category D driver’s license; valid Emergency Vehicle Operator Course certification, compliant with training and operational standards. * Pre-Hospital Care Training.
