ABOUT THE POSITION Assemble manual loading fixtures, adjust and operate vacuum furnaces or resistance furnaces according to work instructions, operational control requirements, and product drawings to physically alter material microstructures. Perform dimensional and visual inspections using hardness measurement instruments, as well as record results in the documentation accompanying the manufacturing order to ensure manufacturing process integrity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Verify technical specifications of incoming materials. * Enter information from the manufacturing order into the system. * Conduct visual inspection and/or inspection using measuring instruments or ground plates. * Assemble loads using simple mechanical devices for manual and automatic loading. * Use pneumatic unloading systems in rotary furnaces. * Prepare and operate machines equipped with silicon carbide and graphite resistance heating systems. * Perform process control. * Notify via system upon completion of the manufacturing order to route produced parts to the next process. * Report any unplanned stoppages via the production management system or maintenance-related stoppages via the maintenance management system. * Perform autonomous maintenance periodically. * Submit purchase requisitions for machine component acquisition and/or replacement.
