Focus on quality, safety, and problem resolution **Position: Telecommunications Technician (FTTH)** **Department:** Operations / Technical **Reports to:** Technical Supervisor / Operations Coordinator **Position Summary:** Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications networks using FTTH (Fiber To The Home) technology, ensuring proper service functionality, signal quality, and customer satisfaction. Also involved in fiber optic cable laying and organization, technical drawing interpretation, and execution of technical tests. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform FTTH network installation and maintenance; * Carry out fiber optic cable laying, splicing, and organization; * Conduct preventive and corrective network maintenance; * Interpret technical drawings (including KMZ files); * Use measurement equipment such as OTDR for network testing and diagnostics; * Identify and rectify faults in telecommunications infrastructure; * Perform field technical services (for customers and external networks); * Ensure adherence to established quality standards and deadlines; * Comply with occupational safety regulations, especially NR10 (electrical safety) and NR35 (work at heights); * Complete technical reports and activity logs. **Requirements:** * Completed high school education (technical training in Telecommunications, Networking, or related fields is preferred); * Experience with FTTH network installation and maintenance; * Knowledge of fiber optic cable laying and splicing; * Proficiency in using OTDR and measurement equipment; * Ability to read KMZ project files; * Certification or knowledge of NR10 and NR35 regulations; * Availability for field work and, if required, work at heights. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience installing and maintaining IP cameras; * Knowledge of electronic security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control); * Driver's license category B (or higher). **Behavioral Competencies:** * Attention to detail; * Organization and discipline; * Proactivity; * Ability to work in a team; * Focus on quality and safety; * Agility in problem resolution.
